In 1983, Syed Babar Ali, a renowned businessman in Pakistan, recognized the shortage of qualified managers in the country. The University of Lahore, abbreviated as UOL, is a private university located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It was founded at the collegiate level in 1999 under the IBADAT Educational Trust and was granted full degree awarding status in 2002. It is one of the largest private universities in Pakistan. 6. Forman Christian College (FCC)

Forman Christian College is a private liberal arts university in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It was founded in 1864 and is administered by the Presbyterian Church. The university follows an American-style curriculum. Founded in 1864 by American Presbyterian missionary  Charles William Forman, the college was initially named Mission College, and changed its name in 1894 to Forman Christian College, in honor of its founder. As of 2020, Forman was home to 8,435 students including 3,173 Intermediate students, 4,712 Baccalaureate students, and 550 graduate students. 10. Minhaj University Lahore (MUL)

The Minhaj University Lahore (MUL) is a private university located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Minhaj university was established on 18 September 1986 by Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri as one of the educational branches of the international educational and welfare organization Minhaj-ul-Quran, which he had founded five years before on 31 October 1981. It has two campuses: one located in Model Town Extension, Lahore, and the second campus is located in Township, Lahore.
